The American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (ASBMB) is offering a six to eight week course on science communication with a focus on how to present science to an audience in a formal setting such as a professional meeting or public lecture.
Participants will spend three to four hours on the course weekly. Each week, participants will watch a set of video lectures on a particular theme, and review background reading and external links. Weekly homework assignments will help participants understand the context of the material being presented.
The next version of the course will start in February 2016. Click here for the course syllabus.
Cost: $25 for ASBMB members, $100 for non-members
