Judges are needed for the State - Texas Science and Engineering Fair (TXSEF) held April 2, 2016 at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center, Exhibit Hall D

The fair advances their top middle and high school projects to compete within 22 categories:

Life Science Categories- Animal Science, Behavioral & Social Science, Biochemistry, Biomedical and Health Services, Cellular & Molecular Biology, Computational Biology and Bioinformatics, Earth and Environmental Sciences, Microbiology, Plant Science and Transitional Medical Sciences.

Physical Science Categories– Biomedical Engineering, Chemistry, Embedded Systems, Energy: Chemical, Energy: Physical, Engineering Mechanics, Environmental Engineering, Material Science, Mathematics, Physics & Astronomy, Robotics and Intelligent Machines, and System Software.

Each year, we host approximately 1,000 projects and 1,200 students (some projects are team projects with up to 3 student collaborators). The success of the fair is largely a product of the professionalism of the judges.
